Background: Protector of Micaiah and part of the Dawn Brigade Sothe is a protector and admirable warrior. He is infatuated with Ike as a warrior and looks up to him to the appoint of it annoying Micaiah. It is said that he is a calm person who does not smile much. Although he values his relationship with Micaiah above all else, considering her as close as a sister.

Reasoning: He would take Ike’s place in the roster and would be a nice change from all the swordsmen while still representing the Fire Emblem series.

Probability: Low, sadly. Chrom will likely take Ike’s spot in the roster due to him being the protagonist in the most recent installment of the series. 2 blue haired swordsmen though? Chrom wasn’t even that great of a character! The only chance he really has is in that he has appeared in the last 3 Fire Emblem games.

Thoughts: I don’t know too much about the series, but Sothe was a popular choice and did have at least a trophy appearance in Brawl. He has a great aesthetic to him and I hadn’t considered a dagger wielder until now. I think there is a lot more creative potential with him than with some of the other characters, especially Chrom.
